  1. Ocean ridge is a mountain range on the seabed 
  2. indicating the presence of a constructive 
  3. plate margin (where tectonic plates are 
  4. moving apart and magma rises to the surface). 
  5. Ocean ridges, such as the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, 
  6. consist of many segments offset along faults, 
  7. and can rise thousands of metres above the 
  8. surrounding seabed.
